STATS – Senior wide receiver Emmanuel Butler is primed and ready for his final season in a Northern Arizona uniform, as the Phoenix, Ariz. product was selected to the FCS STATS Preseason All-America Second Team, announced today by the organization.

Butler, a unanimous Preseason All-Big Sky selection enters the 2017 season 597 yards shy from breaking the Lumberjack career receiving yards record. He currently holds the single season record of 1,208 receiving yards and is three touchdown receptions away from the career mark. When it comes to his ranking on the FCS charts, Butler sits in fourth place in the NCAA in career receiving yards and receiving yards per game.

The two-time all-conference wide receiver leads an NAU team that was picked to finish third in the league by the conference coaches and media.
