"Both Ashley and Aleksandra have been playing really well," said head women's golf coach Brad Bedortha. "There were a couple of small mistakes throughout the day. I expect them both to go into the final round and have another great performance and possibly move up on the leaderboard."

Following up Croft and Chekalina in individual scoring for the Lumberjacks was sophomore Lexi Keene. Keene had a massive improvement compared to her first round performance and was able to shoot for one-under par throughout the second day. Her tally of 71 put her at a total of 147 good enough for a tie for 40th place in the Showdown.

Elle Kocourkova shot seven-over par in the second round with a tally of 79. Her total tally of 154 puts her in a three-way tie for 75th place.

Sara Padilla would round things out for NAU finishing the second round of the showdown in 89th place (+17, 161).
