PHOENIX, Ariz. (March 24, 2026) - The Northern Arizona women's golf team climbed to 12th place after the second round of the ASU PING Invitational, posting a two-round total of 597 (+21) on Tuesday.

No. 2 Southern California continues to lead the tournament at 24 under par, 11 strokes ahead of Baylor. USC's Katherine Park sits atop the leaderboard after shooting 66 (-6) in the second round for a 10-under total.

Lydia Lin led the Lumberjacks with an even-par 72 in the second round, matching her opening-round 72 for a two-day total of 144 (E). Lin is tied for 21st overall and remains the team's top performer, showing consistent play from the front nine to the back nine. She opened the round with a birdie on hole 10 and dropped a couple of shots throughout the round before finishing strong with back-to-back birdies to return to even par. The freshman is taking advantage of scoreable par-5s, averaging 4.63 (-3), tied for sixth-best in the field.

Frankie Dezis carded a 75 (+3) in the second round after opening with a 74 (+2), giving her a total of 149 (+5) and a tie for 49th place. Dezis went out in five-over-par but stayed steady on the back nine, posting a string of pars and two birdies for a two-under second nine. She has tallied 25 pars, tied for 18th-most in the competition.

Amy Hodgkins posted a 76 (+4) in round two for a two-day total of 151 (+7). Hodgkins is tied for 60th and secured a birdie on each side of the course, including the par-5 15th and par-3 fourth holes.

Sumin Kang rebounded with a 76 (+4) in the second round after an 80 (+8) in round one, totaling 156 (+12) and tying for 75th place. Kang played a steady back nine, posting even par and adding two birdies on holes 13 and 9.

Nina Lukyanenko finished with an 81 (+9) in the second round, giving her a two-day total of 158 (+14) and a tie for 81st place. Lukyanenko faced challenges in the second round but added birdies on holes 12 and 15 to limit damage and stay competitive.

As a team, Northern Arizona has tallied 22 birdies (tied for seventh) and 107 pars (13th). The Lumberjacks are showing steady play on par-5s, averaging 5.03 (+1), but will look to limit mistakes on par-3s (3.27, +11) and par-4s (4.26, +26) heading into the final round.

NAU will begin round three at 8 a.m. MST with a shotgun start, playing in foursomes alongside No. 19 Northwestern (+10), Florida Atlantic (+12) and Abilene Christian (+15). They will tee off on holes 10 through 14. Live scoring is available on Clippd Scoreboard.
