TONIGHT'S GAME
Northern Arizona continues its current five-game road trip at Omaha on Wednesday night in a 6 p.m. MST tip.

The Lumberjacks will be meeting for the second time in program history and the first time since the 1972-73 season when NAU handed the Mavericks a 106-84 defeat in Flagstaff.

Wednesday's game will mark the first time that the 'Jacks have faced the Mavericks in Omaha.


PLENTY OF ACTION RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE
The Lumberjacks will be playing their third game in the last five days when they take on Omaha on Wednesday night. 

Following Wednesday's game at Omaha, the 'Jacks will head to the Aloha State for a showdown at Hawaii on Sunday, Nov. 18.

NAU will then play two additional road games at UC Davis (Nov. 29) and Santa Clara (Dec.1) to close out the six-game road swing before returning home to take on Utah Valley on Dec. 8 in Rolle.


ALL-TIME SERIES VS. OMAHA
The Lumberjacks lead the all-time series with Omaha 1-0 with the lone previous encounter coming during the 1972-73 season in Flagstaff and resulting in a 106-84 triumph by the 'Jacks.


LARGEST MARGIN OF VICTORY IN SEASON OPENER SINCE 2010
NAU's 97-82 win over Jacksonville on Nov. 10 marked NAU's largest victory in a season opener since it defeated Southwest Christian 113-61 on Nov. 19, 2010.


FIRST WIN IN SEASON OPENER SINCE 2013
With their victory over Jacksonville on Nov. 10, the Lumberjacks open the season with a win for the first time besting UT-San Antonio by a 74-63 count on Nov. 9, 2013.

NAU led Jacksonville by as many as 32 points and trailed for only 3:01 of game time.

The 97 points marked the most for the Lumberjacks since a 103-point output vs. Arizona Christian on Nov. 18, 2011.


FIVE PLAYERS IN DOUBLE-DIGITS AT JAX
Five players recorded double-figure points in the Lumberjacks' season-opening victory over Jacksonville on Nov. 10.

It marked the first game that saw five players register double-figure points for NAU since March 2, 2017 vs. Idaho.  


HOT START FOR BERNIE
Sophomore Bernie Andre wasted no time in establishing himself as a force for the Lumberjacks as he posted a double-double in his first game at NAU with 20 points and 14 rebounds, while shooting 8-of-13 overall to lead all scorers in the season-opening win over Jacksonville on Nov. 10.


LUMBERJACK MEN AND WOMEN START OUT WITH A "W"
For the first time since 2007-08, the NAU men's and women's basketball teams each opened the season with a victory to start the year 1-0.

While the men defeated Jacksonville on Nov. 10, the NAU women's basketball team handed Fresno State an 86-73 setback on Nov. 6.


HINES SCORES CAREER-BEST 23 AT SOUTH DAKOTA
Sophomore Carlos Hines dropped a career-high 23 points in NAU's 90-74 loss at South Dakota on Nov. 12.

Hines connected on 6-of-12 shots overall, including 4-of-7 three-point range.  He also knocked in 7-of-9 free throw attempts vs. the Coyotes.

LUMBERJACKS ON THE ROAD FOR NON-CONFERENCE
NAU will play a total of eight of its 10 non-conference games away from Flagstaff.

The current road trip will still see the 'Jacks play games at Hawai'i (11/18), UC Davis (11/29) and Santa Clara (12/1).
The trip current trip, which also saw NAU play at South Dakota as well as Wednesday's game at Omaha, will total 6,272 air miles and 998 bus miles and cover four states.


'JACKS OPEN SEASON AT HOME FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2010-11
Northern Arizona opened the regular season with a home game for the first time since the 2010-11 season when it hosted Jacksonville on Nov. 10 at the Rolle Activity Center.

The Lumberjacks last began the regular season at home in 2010-11 when they defeated Western New Mexico by a 96-86 margin on November 3.


LUMBERJACKS IN HOME OPENERS SINCE 2003-04
The 'Jacks have a 13-3 record in home openers since the 2003-04 season.


LUMBERJACKS IN SEASON OPENERS
Since 2000, the 'Jacks are 7-12 in season opening games.
