SATURDAY'S GAME
Northern Arizona concludes its current five-game road trip with a game at Santa Clara on Saturday that will tip off at 5 p.m. MST and will be streamed live on TheW.tv and aired on the Lumberjack Radio Network beginning with the pregame show at 4:30 p.m. MST.

The Lumberjacks and Broncos will be facing each other for the third consecutive season and the sixth time in program history when they square off on Saturday in the Bay Area.

Saturday's game will mark NAU's fourth straight non-conference road game.  The 'Jacks will be looking to snap a two-game losing skid before returning home next Saturday when they will host WAC member Utah Valley in the first game of the season at the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome.

LOOKING FOR WIN #3
The Lumberjacks will be looking to claim their third win of the season in their sixth game overall when it takes on Santa Clara on Saturday.

NAU has not posted three wins in its first six games in a season since 2010-11 when it opened the season 3-2 overall.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. SANTA CLARA
The Lumberjacks trail the all-time series with Santa Clara 4-1 entering Saturday's match up.  All five meetings have come on the Broncos' home court.

This marks the third consecutive season that NAU has faced the Broncos.

Santa Clara has won each of the last three games between the program's including an 89-57 victory last season.

The Lumberjacks lone win in the series came via an 88-72 margin on Nov. 25, 2009.

LUKE AVDALOVIC PROVIDES SPARK OFF THE BENCH AT UC DAVIS
Redshirt freshman Luke Avdalovic provided some sharp shooting from beyond the arc in NAU's 73-57 setback at UC Davis on Nov. 29.

Avdalovic came off the bench and connected on 3-of-4 three-point attempts en route to scoring a career-best 11 points while also playing a career-high 18 minutes in the loss to the Aggies.

He is currently shooting a team-best .600 (6-of-10) from long distance.

NAU TRAILS FOR JUST 56 SECONDS IN WIN AT OMAHA
The Lumberjacks raced out to a 23-9 lead and trailed for a total of just 56 seconds en route to a 76-66 win at Omaha on Nov. 14.

RESERVES PUTTING IN WORK FOR THE 'JACKS
NAU'S bench has outscored its opponents in four of the first five games this season entering Saturday's meeting with Santa Clara.

For the season, the Lumberjacks' reserves have posted a 145-109 margin vs. the opposing bench.

LARGEST MARGIN OF VICTORY IN SEASON OPENER SINCE 2010
NAU's 97-82 win over Jacksonville on Nov. 10 marked NAU's largest victory in a season opener since it defeated Southwest Christian 113-61 on Nov. 19, 2010.

FIRST WIN IN SEASON OPENER SINCE 2013
With its victory over Jacksonville on Nov. 10, the Lumberjacks open the season with a win for the first time besting UT-San Antonio by a 74-63 count on Nov. 9, 2013.

NAU led Jacksonville by as many as 32 points and trailed for only 3:01 of game time.

The 97 points marked the most for the Lumberjacks since a 103-point output vs. Arizona Christian on Nov. 18, 2011.

FIVE PLAYERS IN DOUBLE-DIGITS AT JAX
Five players recorded double-figure points in the Lumberjacks' season-opening victory over Jacksonville on Nov. 10.

It marked the first game that saw five players register double-figure points for NAU since March 2, 2017 vs. Idaho.  

HOT START FOR BERNIE
Sophomore Bernie Andre wasted no time in establishing himself as a force for the Lumberjacks as he posted a double-double in his first game at NAU with 20 points and 14 rebounds, while shooting 8-of-13 overall to lead all scorers in the season-opening win over Jacksonville on Nov. 10.

Andre has posted double-figure points in three of the first five games overall entering Saturday's tilt at Santa Clara.

LUMBERJACK MEN AND WOMEN START OUT WITH A "W"
For the first time since 2007-08, the NAU men's and women's basketball teams each opened the season with a victory to start the year 1-0.

While the men defeated Jacksonville on Nov. 10, the NAU women's basketball team handed Fresno State an 86-73 setback on Nov. 6.

HINES SCORES CAREER-BEST 23 AT SOUTH DAKOTA
Sophomore Carlos Hines dropped a career-high 23 points in NAU's 90-74 loss at South Dakota on Nov. 12.

Hines connected on 6-of-12 shots overall, including 4-of-7 three-point range.  He also knocked in 7-of-9 free throw attempts vs. the Coyotes.

LUMBERJACKS ON THE ROAD FOR NON-CONFERENCE
NAU will play a total of eight of its 10 non-conference games away from Flagstaff.

Following a game at home on Dec. 8 vs. Utah Valley, the 'Jacks will return to the road for the final three games of the non-conference slate beginning with a contest at San Jose State on Dec. 15.

THREE-POINT STREAK
NAU has connected on at least one 3-pointer in 166 consecutive games. 

The last time NAU did not make a 3-pointer was on Nov. 29, 2013, versus CSU Bakersfield.  

The Lumberjacks finished that game 0-for-11 from beyond the arc.

BALANCED SCORING
During the 2017-18 season, NAU had a balanced offensive attack that saw a total of six players register at least one game with a 20-point scoring output.

Of those six players, three return in 2018-19, including Karl Harris, Corey Brown and Chris Bowling.
