FRIDAY'S GAME
Northern Arizona concludes its three-game non-conference road trip at Utah in a 7 p.m. MST tip. The 'Jacks dropped each of the opening games of the trip at San Jose State (12/15) and San Francisco (12/19). They will be looking to snap a five-game skid when they take on the Utes on Friday.
Friday's tilt will be aired live on Pac-12 Networks and the Lumberjack Radio Network beginning with the pregame show at 6:30 p.m. MST.
The meeting with Utah will mark the final game of NAU's current three-game, eight-day road trip as well as the final game of the non-conference schedule.
The Lumberjacks played just two of its 10 non-league games at home.
Following Friday's game at Utah, the Lumberjacks will have seven days off before hosting Montana in the Big Sky opener on Saturday, Dec. 29 in Flagstaff.
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. UTAH
The Lumberjacks will be facing Utah for just the second time in program history when they meet on Friday night in Salt Lake City.
NAU dropped an 85-52 decision on the road on Dec. 30, 1994 in the only previous meeting between the programs.
AVDALOVIC CONTINUES SHOT SHOOTING AT SAN FRANCISCO
Freshman
Luke Avdalovic made the first start of his career in NAU's game at San Francisco on Dec. 19 and responded with 12 points and four three-pointers.
The performance followed a 20-point effort at San Jose State on Dec. 15.
Avdalovic now has connected on a total of 10 treys over the last three games.
THREE-POINT STREAK
NAU has connected on at least one 3-pointer in 170 consecutive games.
The last time NAU did not make a 3-pointer was on Nov. 29, 2013, versus CSU Bakersfield.
The Lumberjacks finished that game 0-for-11 from beyond the arc.
