Women’s Golf Ties Season-Best Low Round on Day Two of Big Sky Championships

BOULDER CITY, Nev. - The Northern Arizona University women's golf program tied its season-best round by posting a six-over 294 to slot fifth overall after the second day of the 2018 Big Sky Championships at Boulder Creek Golf Club on Saturday.

Sofia Anokhina sits in a tie for second individually at two-under after posting a second day total of 73.

Sierra Bezdicek and Kaitlyn Saum bounced back in a big on Saturday as Bezdicek shot a 73 while Saum chipped in a 71. Bezdicek improved to a tie for 18th at eight-over and Saum shot up to 22nd at nine-over.

Loren Skibba and Lexi Keene came in tied for 37th at 13-over. Skibba improved her day one results by posting a 77 for the second round while Keene stayed consistent in posting a 79.

The Lumberjacks conclude the Big Sky Championships with a final 18 holes on Sunday, beginning at 7:30 a.m. MST.
