LUMBERJACK HOST OMAHA SUNDAY IN PRESCOTT VALLEY
NAU heads 90 miles south for the final "home" game of the current five-game stretch on Sunday, Dec. 8 vs. Omaha at the Toyota Findlay Center at 3 p.m. MST.

Sunday's meeting with the Mavericks will be aired live on Pluto TV (channel 539) and the Lumberjack Radio Network with the voice of the Lumberjacks Mitch Strohman on the call.

Following Sunday's match up with the Mavericks, the 'Jacks will become road warriors, playing five straight games away from home - and eight of the next 10 overall - including five of their first seven Big Sky Conference games.

The Mavericks mark the second opponent that the 'Jacks will face from the Summit League this season after defeating South Dakota 76-72 on Nov. 30.

NAU PLAYS IN PRESCOTT FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2011
Sunday's game vs. Omaha will mark the first time that the Lumberjacks have played a game in Prescott Valley since Nov. 30, 2011, when they dropped an 87-52 decision vs. BYU.

NAU VS. OMAHA ALL-TIME
The Lumberjacks will be facing Omaha for the second-straight season and for the third time in history when they battle in Prescott on Sunday.

NAU leads the all-time series 2-0, which includes a 76-66 victory over the Mavericks in Omaha last season.

The first meeting between the programs came back during the 1972-73 season - which the 'Jacks won 106-84.

The contest was also the only other game between the programs previously in Flagstaff.

SHELTON = DOUBLE-FIGURE POINTS
NAU sophomore guard Cameron Shelton has posted double-figure points in each of the Lumberjacks' initial five games of 2019-20.

Shelton is the only NAU player to reach double-digit scoring numbers in each game this season and has shot 50 percent or better from the field in three of the first five games.

3-1 START TO SEASON BEST SINCE 2007-08
The Lumberjacks' 3-1 start to the 2019-20 campaign is their best start through the first four games of the season since 2007-08.

NAU posted wins vs. Adams State, Missouri-Kansas City and Mississippi Valley State and lost to Arizona to open 2007-08.

The last time the 'Jacks opened a season at 4-1 was 2001-02, when it went 5-1 to open the year.

LAST TIME OUT
The 'Jacks were outscored by 19 points in the final 20 minutes of regulation and dropped its first home game of the season by an 85-66 margin vs. UC Davis.

NAU stayed close for the majority of the contest, but a 13-4 run by the Aggies to open the second half broke open a game that was deadlocked 36-36 heading into halftime.

The game was a tale of two halves for the Lumberjacks, who shot 37 percent in the second half, while UC Davis hit on 70.8 percent from the field over the final 20 minutes.

This following an opening half of action which saw NAU lead by as many as four and trail by no more than eight.

JUST SIX TURNOVERS KEYS WIN OVER SOUTH DAKOTA
The 'Jacks committed only six turnovers in their 76-72 victory over South Dakota on Nov. 30.

Only one of those turnovers came in the second half of the win, which saw the 'Jacks out-score South Dakota 43-40 and rally from an eight-point deficit.

The six miscues marked the fewest for NAU since committing only five vs. Sacramento State on Jan. 17, 2019.
