FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (February 10, 2022) - Northern Arizona Swimming and Diving is sending eleven swimmers to the UNLV First Chance Invite this weekend in Las Vegas.
The 'Jacks will head into one final competition before the Western Athletic Conference Championships in two weeks, while looking to continue gaining momentum and experience. NAU's last swimming competition was on Jan. 22, where the Lumberjacks took on New Mexico State at home. The meet ended in a 132-132 tie for the conference rivals.
Heading to Nevada for the 'Jacks, is Kendall Carlson, Francesca Criscione, Jamie Dellwardt, Anslee Dickerson, Bena Koehn, Jane Shroufe, Brooke Seiber, Emma Warner, Astrid Villeda, Illiana Moore, and Abigail Tashlein. The athletes are able to compete in seven events total, a maximum of three individually.
The invite will hold timed finals, that are set to start at 11:00 a.m. MST, along with timed trials that are set to begin 45 minutes after finals. The meet will not be scored.
