COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (February 5, 2022) - Northern Arizona Men's Tennis bounced back Saturday morning to bring their first win on the road this season, getting the victory while facing Omaha, 4-2.

The 'Jacks were down early after losing on courts one and two in doubles play. Eban Straker-Meads and Facundo Tumosa lost on court one, 1-6, while Dominik Buzonics and Alex Groves fell 2-6 on court two. Maciej Ziomber and Daniel Dillon were up 4-2 on court three before the match was retired.

Buzonics brought in another win on court three as he took down Huge Piles (6-4, 2-6, 7-5). Ziomber came in with a tiebreaker win on court four while facing Todd Chen (6-2, 7-6 (4)). Rounding out the day for the 'Jacks, Groves secured the victory on court five with a 6-2, 7-6(5) win, as Dani Torres' match went unfinished on court six. Torres was up 6-2, 2-1.

"It was a great comeback win after a slow start in doubles. The team showed a lot of character today, but our weekend is not over and we need to recover quickly and get ready for Air Force tomorrow," Head Coach Maciej Bogusz said.

The Lumberjacks will be back in action in Colorado tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. MST as they take on the Air Force Academy, the matches will be available to live stream here, and live results will be entered here.
