FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 31, 2022) – The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks will host their annual Cross Country Camp on July 6th-10th at NAU's Flagstaff Campus, offering the opportunity to train and work with the five-time, defending NCAA Division I Cross Country National Champions and coaching staff in the long distance capital of the U.S.
Northern Arizona's Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Michael Smith will be hosting the camp alongside assistant coach Becca DeLoache.
The five day camp will give participants the experience of getting to train on endless high altitude trails, a coaching staff with proven experience at every level, guest speakers with world and Olympic titles to their name all while surrounded by the renowned athletes, team culture and altitude of the defending, five-time National Cross Country Champions of NAU.
Campers will thrive in the specialized training environment, as they run and learn from the Northern Arizona University coaches and athletes. Attendees will also receive exposure to our beautiful mountain town that many elite and Olympic level runners call home during their altitude training camps.

Situated at 7,000 feet above sea level, Flagstaff, Ariz. has established itself as the ultimate altitude-based training destination on the planet.
Various distance runners continuously train in the area while also interacting with and sharing their knowledge with NAU's program.

Pricing
There are two pricing packages for campers looking to attend the camp, residential ($799) and commuter ($599); the residential package includes four nights of room and board on the Northern Arizona Campus, while the commuter package includes all programming, runs and meals at the cafeteria, but is for athletes not staying in the campus dormitories.
