FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (February 1, 2023) – Officially adding four more to their 2023 Signing Class on the first day of the regular signing period, the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks will begin looking ahead to the 2023 season.
Bringing the total to 26 signees, Lumberjacks head coach
Chris Ball and the rest of Northern Arizona's coaching staff added 11 to the offensive side of the ball and 15 to the defensive side. In total, the announced class includes three quarterbacks, one running back, three receivers and four offensive linemen for offensive coordinator

Jerry Partridge, the group includes five defensive linemen, four linebackers and six defensive backs.
The 26 players come to Flagstaff from 11 different states, led by eight new Lumberjacks staying in their home state of Arizona. Five played their high school football in California, with four from Texas and two from Nevada. Northern Arizona added one in its announced signing class from Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Oregon, Tennessee and Virginia. Additionally, eight other transfers have already enrolled at Northern Arizona for the spring and include two receivers, one tight end, one defensive linemen, one linebacker, two defensive backs and one punter.

Reached the Class 5A Southern Region semifinals after going 8-2 in the regular season... Finished with 23 total tackles and 8.0 sacks as a junior.

6-5 – 200 – Defensive Line
Jasper, Ala./Jasper High School
Finished with 41 total tackles during his senior season for the Vikings... Added 5.0 sacks and 10.0 tackles for loss... Also recorded two defensive touchdowns, including an interception returned for a touchdown in the state playoffs... Finished 5-5 during the regular season, including a 5-2 record in 5A Region 5... Reached the AHSAA 5A Playoffs during his senior season.
Brodrick Stewart
6-2 – 305 – Defensive Line
Arlington, Texas/Mansfield Summit High School
Finished the 2022 season with 46 total tackles, including 9.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks... Added one fumble recovery, one forced fumble and one pass deflection... Finished the regular season 5-5 and reached the UIL bi-district round of playoffs... Also competes in track and field for the Jaguars.
Will Wilson
6-3 – 215 – Linebacker
Tualatin, Ore./Tualatin High School
Finished his junior season with 27 solo tackles and 53 assists... Added 4.0 sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss, along with 10 quarterback hurries and one pass breakup... Finished the 2021 season with the Timberwolves at 14-2 and reached the OSAA 6A Championship game... Part of a defense that allowed just 18.6 points per game in 2021.
