LOS ANGELES (January 12, 2024) – The Northern Arizona University diving team finished up competition on Day 1 of the 2024 Bruin Diving Invitational, hosted by UCLA.
"Everyone was consistent. We still need to clean up a few things as we get ready for championships next month," head diving coach
Nikki Kelsey said. "It was nice to see our veterans step up."
Each of NAU's veterans made the finals and finished 14th, 15th, and 16th, respectively, in the 1-meter event.
Maegan Jensen came in 14th place with a combined score of 511.25 points (250.60 in the preliminaries and 260.65 in the finals).
Victoria Knapp came in 15th place with a combined score of 510.70 points (244.15 in the preliminaries and 266.55 in the finals).
Reaney Preston came in 16th place with a combined score of 506.25 points (248.90 in the preliminaries and 257.35 in the finals).

Grace Wesche,
Margaret Wesche.
Events will continue Saturday and Sunday at Spieker Aquatics Center on the UCLA campus with action starting at 11:30 a.m. MST each day.
