(November 25, 2024) – Northern Arizona Basketball (5-1, 0-0 Big Sky) will head on the road for the first neutral site matchup of the season as the Lumberjacks take on Eastern Michigan (3-2, 0-0 MAC) on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. MST, followed by a Wednesday night matchup with Houston Christian (2-3, 0-0 SLC) at 6 p.m. MST. The Jacks are entering the week on a three-game win streak, earning a road victory at Pacific followed by back-to-back home wins against Embry-Riddle and Incarnate Word in Flagstaff last week. A 6-1 start to the 2024-25 campaign will mark the Lumberjacks best program start in NAU's Division-I era, dating back to the 6-1 start NAU took to the 1961-62 season. The Lumberjacks current 5-1 start marks the best since 2001.

th in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio, leading the Big Sky at 1.79 while
Trent McLaughlin ranks 17
th in the nation in scoring, averaging 22.3 points per game for a Big Sky best through six games.

th in Division-I programs in offensive rebounds per game, while 26
th in overall rebounds per game, with a margin of +11.8 against opponents this season.
Carson Towt leads the Jacks on the boards, averaging a Big Sky best with 9.7 rebounds per night, ranking 55
th in the nation in rebounds per game while 26
th in offensive rebounds. The Lumberjacks are currently shooting 47.7 percent from the field while holding opponents to 38.5 percent. Towt's three double-double performances to start the season ranks ninth in the country.
Jayden Jackson is coming off his career-high, grabbing 23 points against the Cardinals for his third-straight double-digit scoring game. Jackson finished 7-for-9 from the field, shooting 80.0 percent from the free throw line, adding four rebounds and two assists in addition to eight fouls drawn.
The Jacks Tuesday night matchup with the Eagles will mark the first meeting between the two programs since 1969. The series is even at 1-1, while Tuesday's contest will mark the first matchup in NAU's division-I era. Eastern Michigan will take on Houston Christian on Monday night, coming off a 68-64 victory over Oakland where Arne Osojnik led the Eagles with 16 points, closely followed by Da'Sean Nelson's 15 points and team-high seven rebounds.
Wednesday night's matchup with Houston Christian will mark the first meeting between the two programs yet. The Huskies are coming off a tough three-point loss to Rice last Friday, where Bryson Dawkins led the team with 10 points and six rebounds. HCU is shooting 38. 2 percent from the field while opponents have shot 47.8 percent against the Huskies. Dawkins leads the team as the only double-digit shooter, averaging 12.2 points per game in addition to a team-high 4.0 rebounds per contest.
