FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (Feb. 8, 2024) – The Lumberjack Diving Invite got underway Thursday morning as the Northern Arizona University diving team hosted four other diving squads at Wall Aquatic Center.

Nikki Kelsey said. "It was a close meet and I was very proud of our first day and I hope tomorrow is even better."
Thursday's events featured the 1-meter competition. Of the 18 divers that made the finals,
Grace Wesche took home the gold with a score of 578.00 points.
The 'Jacks would also place third, fourth and fifth to round out the top 5.
Mackenna Stocker came in third place with a score of 564.05 points.
Victoria Knapp came in fourth scoring 557.45 points.
Maegan Jensen would round out the top 5 earning 554.45 points.
Reaney Preston would place 13th scoring 474.15 points.
Kendall Marquez showcased a new dive, an inward two-and-a-half somersault on the 1-meter board today scoring 458.25 points, coming in 15th place.
Friday's events begin at 10:30 a.m. MST and will include the 3-meter competition and the team event.
