FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 12, 2024) – Action at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championship resumed on Tuesday as the Northern Arizona diving team qualified two divers into the 3-meter finals at Wall Aquatic Center.
Mackenna Stocker and
Maegan Jensen represented the Jacks in the finals, and Stocker's eighth place finish with 566 points has earned her a spot at the NCAA National Meet next week in Athens, Georgia.
"We had a lot of great performances today," head diving coach
Nikki Kelsey said. "This is a hard meet with a lot of great divers. Stocker was on it today and she has earned her spot at the NCAA National Meet."
Stocker finished the prelims with a score of 286.35 points, in seventh place, and earned 269.75 points in the finals.

Today was also the final college meet for
Maegan Jensen. Jensen came in 14th place in the finals with a score of 555.06.
Also competing today,
Kendall Marquez came in 19th place scoring 264.40 points. Marquez was one point shy of making the finals.
Margaret Wesche came in 20th place with 263.40 points.
Grace Wesche came in 27th place with 248.85 points and
Victoria Knapp closed things out for the Jacks in 33rd place with 232.30 points.
"I'm really excited for Stocker, she really earned it," Kelsey said.
Wednesday's events will begin at 11:30 a.m. MST and will feature platform diving on the final day of the event on the women's side.
