ATHENS, Ga. (March 22, 2024) – The Northern Arizona diving season drew to a close on Friday at the NCAA Diving Championships. The meet was held at Gabrielsen Natatorium on the University of Georgia campus and
Mackenna Stocker represented the Lumberjacks competing in the 3-meter.
"Mackenna started off with a great couple of dives," head diving coach Nikki Kelsey said. "She fought for it and didn't let it get to her."
Stocker scored 234.95 points in the prelims, placing 44th. The championship diving field featured 49 divers.
Stocker earned a score of 566 points at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships in Flagstaff last week to qualify for the championships.
"This was a tough competition with some great diving and it was great experience," Kelsey said.
