ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (March 21, 2025) – Northern Arizona Men's Tennis suffered a 6-1 loss to the No. 67 New Mexico Lobos on Friday afternoon, snapping a five-match win streak.
The Lumberjacks fell in doubles on courts one and two, with
Jakub Prachar and
Jakub Volesky dropping to Aram Noroozian and Georgio Samaha in a 6-3 final at the No. 1.
Piotr Galus and
Dani Torres then fell at the No. 2, in a 6-2 meeting with Daniil Kakhniuk and Nicolas Recoura.
Semen Agynskyy and
Takumi Katsuda were trailing Aditya Balsekar and Avery Tallakson 3-5 before the match was abandoned to move on to singles play.
Galus was the lone Lumberjack of the day to pick up a win, earning it at the No. 3 spot in a 6-2, 6-4 final with Dario Ciobotaru. Torres, Agynskyy, Katsuda, and Volesky all dropped their matchups in two sets, while Prachar's match was withdrawn in the second set.
