FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (April 12, 2025) – Northern Arizona Men's Tennis finished out the regular season with a 6-1 victory over the Montana State Bobcats, finishing the season on a five-match win streak, going 8-0 in conference play and an undefeated 10-0 in Flagstaff.
It did not take long for Northern Arizona to find their stride in the final regular-season contest, with Seniors
Dani Torres and
Piotr Galus earning the first doubles victory of the match with a 6-4 win over Dmitry Bezborodov and Andre Stewart at the No. 1. Securing the 1-0 lead,
Takumi Katsuda and
Jakub Volesky earned a 6-3 victory over Eddie Biss and Harrison Janes at the No. 2 to send the match to singles play.
Semen Agynskyy and
Mati Lange were 5-5 at the No. 3 before leaving the match unfinished.
Andre Stewart would earn the Bobcats their lone point of the match, picking up at No. 2 victory over Galus. Lange followed with the Jacks first singles victory of the match, grabbing a 6-1, 6-4 final at the No. 6 over Montana State's Eddie Biss. Giving Northern Arizona a 3-1 lead, Agynskyy earned a 6-2, 6-3 victory at the No. 3 over Yassin Elaroussy.
Clinching the match at the No. 5, Katsuda earned his second victory of the day with a 6-1, 6-4 final over Harrison Janes. Volesky finished things out at the No. 4 over Camille Chantron, paving his way to a 6-3, 6-2 final. Torres then grabbed his second victory of the match with a 6-1, 7-6 (7-2_ vict
