LEWISTON, Idaho (April 5, 2025) – Northern Arizona Men's Tennis earned its second-straight victory on Saturday over Lewis-Clark in a 7-0 final.
The Jacks began the match with a doubles sweep as
Dani Torres and
Piotr Galus grabbed a 6-1 victory at the No. 1 spot, followed by 6-3 victories from both
Semen Agynskyy and
Takumi Katsuda at the No. 2 and
Jakub Prachar and
Mati Lange at the No. 3.
Taking a 1-0 lead into singles play, Agynskyy would grab the most dominant win of the day at the No. 3 slot with a 6-1, 6-0 final facing Nell Rollin. Torres earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Pablo Herrera at the top of the lineup, followed by a 6-2, 6-2 final at the No. 5 from Katsuda as NAU clinched the match at 4-0. Galus earned a 6-3, 6-1 win at the No. 2 position over Giacomo Moreira.
Jakub Volesky pushed the Jacks to 6-0 at the No. 4 with a 7-6 (7-3) 6-2 win over Rafael Bonnet, as Lange would complete the sweep at the No. 6 with a 6-1, 7-6 (7-6 final over Cesar Coloma.
