FARMINGTON, Utah (October 27, 2026) – As part of the Big Sky Conference's league-wide announcement on Tuesday, the Northern Arizona football team announced its 2027 conference schedule featuring four games at Findlay Toyota Field at the Walkup Skydome.
For the second consecutive season, the Big Sky football schedule includes nine conference games immediately starting with a league game in Week 0.
The Lumberjacks will open the 2027 season at Portland State on Aug. 28 and will resume conference play on Sept. 25 at home in the Walkup Skydome versus Southern Utah.
NAU will then play consecutive road games at Weber State and Idaho on Oct. 2 and Oct. 9, respectively, for its only back-to-back stretch away from Flagstaff. From there, NAU will alternate home and road games for the remainder of the regular season.
NAU is slated for home conference games versus Idaho State (Oct. 16), UC Davis (Oct. 30) and Utah Tech (Nov. 20) with Utah Tech serving as the season finale. NAU will also play road games at Northern Colorado (Oct. 23) and Montana (Nov. 6). The Lumberjacks' bye week is scheduled for the penultimate week of the season on Nov. 13.
As part of the unbalanced schedule, the 'Jacks will not face Cal Poly, Eastern Washington and Montana State in 2027.
The Lumberjacks' 2027 non-conference opponents will be announced at a later date, as will home game themes, times and ticket information.
