SALT LAKE CITY (February 1, 2026) – Noa Tchnerniack stayed undefeated in singles on the year as the Northern Arizona men's tennis team fell at Utah, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon.
Tcherniack stands at 6-0 on the year, playing at the one and two position. He has notched all but one of his victories in straight sets.
Utah took the doubles point on courts one and three.
Takumi Katsuda and Tcherniack were on the cusp of taking court two up 5-3, and bringing it down to court three, but the Utes were able to reach six games.
Singles play began with losses for NAU on courts six, three, and four, as Utah ultimately clinched the match with a 4-0 lead.
Play continued on courts one, five, and two, with the Utes picking up two more points before Tcherniack's win on court two.
