FLAGSTAFF, Ariz (March 8, 2026) – The Northern Arizona men's tennis team extended their win streak in conference play to 15 matches in a 6-1 decision over Portland State.
NAU improves to 8-5 and 2-0 in Big Sky matches on the season, while the Vikings fall to 4-9 and 1-1 in league matches.
The Jacks got off to a fast start, taking the doubles point on courts two and three, both in bagel-fashion 6-0 wins.
Tcherniack then won his fifth straight on court one in straight sets, followed by another straight-set victory on court two from
Jakub Jedrzejczak.
Takumi Katsuda then secured the clinch on court five, rally for the win after dropping his first set.
Felix Neumeister got back into the win column with a straight-set victory on court four, before the Vikings secured their lone point of the match to wrap up the day.
