FARMINGTON, Utah (April 24, 2026) – A total of 57 Northern Arizona student-athletes earned 2025-26 Big Sky Winter All-Academic honors in an announcement by the Big Sky Conference office on Friday.
To be eligible for the Winter All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have participated in at least half of the team's competitions, achieve a 3.2 cumulative GPA at the conclusion of the most recently completed term and completed at least one academic term at their current Big Sky institution. Track & field student-athletes must have participated in either half of the team's competitions or competed at the conference championship.
A total of 545 student-athletes across Big Sky institutions in men's and women's basketball and men's and women's indoor track & field received Winter All-Academic honors.
The NAU men's track & field team, which captured the program's 14th consecutive Big Sky Conference indoor title, led the way for the Lumberjacks with 23 honorees. NAU's women's track & field team, winner of five straight conference indoor championships, had 18 student-athletes receive the honor.
The Lumberjack women's basketball team (9) and men's basketball team (7) both had at least half of their rosters recognized on the list.
Of the 57 honorees, 12 currently hold a perfect 4.00 cumulative GPA in their respective undergraduate or graduate degree programs. Thirty-eight of the honorees have a 3.50 GPA or better and 24 hold at least a 3.70 GPA.
