VAIL, Colo. (September 22, 2026) -Â The Northern Arizona women's golf team played steady on Tuesday in the second round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic. The Lumberjacks finished the day at 9-over-par (297) to sit in 13th place heading into tomorrow's final round, with a two-round total of 12-over-par.
Southern California continues to lead the tournament with a total score of 33-under-par after shooting -11 today. The Trojans hold a 15-stroke advantage over Miami, which sits at 18-under-par. Individually, Miami's Scarlett Schremmer is the clubhouse leader at -11Â (67-66), two strokes ahead of USC's Sarah Hammett.
Ella Zanatta leads the Lumberjacks after carding her second even-par round of 72, placing her tied for 38th on the leaderboard. She began her second round with a birdie on the second hole, a 557-yard par-5. The junior's momentum stalled in the middle of her round as she was 3-over through 12 holes. However, she finished in style, securing three birdies over her final four holes to bring her score back to even-par.
Frankie Dezis also repeated her first-round score, shooting a pair of 73s to put her 36-hole total at 2-over-par. The senior had three birdies on the day, including on holes three, four and 10. She moved up two spots on the leaderboard and is tied for 48th.
Kristyna Malinova sits tied for 56th after her second-round score of 75 (+3) brought her tournament total to +3. The freshman birdied holes two, 11, 13 and 15 and has eight birdies for the tournament so far.
Gracie Heinle carded a 5-over-par 77 with a single birdie on the eighth hole. Her two-day total stands at +7, good for a tie for 78th.
Rounding out the lineup, Martyna Muchajer recorded a 9-over-par 81. She is +19 and in 107th place overall. The freshman made birdies on holes two and six.
The 'Jacks will tee it up for the final round alongside New Mexico State, UC Irvine and Ball State. The third round will begin at 8:15 a.m. MST in a shotgun start. Live results can be found on Golfstat.
