2024: Played in the season opener against Lincoln.

Prior to Northern Arizona: Played at Utah State for two seasons before joining the Lumberjacks... In 2023, he appeared in all 12 games, playing mostly on special teams after redshirting his freshman season… Earned All-Mountain West academic honors.
 
A two-star prospect out of Skyline High School… Okerwa had four 100-yard receiving games as a senior… In his career, he had 48 receptions for 1,011 yards and 11 touchdowns to along with 10 kickoff returns for 355 yards and a score… Earned all-state and all-region honors his senior season.
