Harrison Beemiller

Harrison Beemiller originally the Northern Arizona University coaching staff in 2021, serving as an defensive graduate assistant working with linebackers for the 2022 season before being named the team's nickelbacks coach ahead of the 2023 season.

Beemiller's tenure coincided with the completion of his playing career for the Lumberjacks, where he spent three seasons after arriving in 2019-20 from SD School of Mines. Beemiller earned All-Big Sky Second Team honors from the conference in the 2021 spring season and honorable mention in the 2021 fall season as well as being a 2021 Phil Steele Preseason All-Big Sky Third Team selection.

Beemiller finished his final season with the Lumberjacks starting all 11 games while recording 77 tackles, third most on the team. Adding 7.5 tackles for loss, three pass breakups and two forced fumbles, Beemiller became a mainstay in the middle of Northern Arizona's defense. Recording 4.5 tackles for loss against Arizona during his final season, Beemiller finished with the second most tackles for loss by a Lumberjack in a game since 1970. Also starting all five games in the spring, Beemiller finished second on the team with 33 tackles and added 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
During his first season with Northern Arizona, Beemiller started all 12 games at middle linebacker, tying for second with 69 tackles and added four quarterback hurries and three forced fumbles.

A graduate of Ironwood Ridge High School, Beemiller was an All-Conference player as a junior and senior, adding All-State honors in his final high school season. During his tenure with the Lumberjacks, Beemiller played alongside his brother Heath Beemiller, with both players becoming second-generation linebackers after their father Vince Beemiller played for the Lumberjacks from 1984-88, earning All-American honors as an offensive lineman.
