Lanae Blocker joined the NAU fiscal operations office as the account associate in December 2018. Blocker previously worked with the Northern Arizona football program as the director of operations, spending a total of seven seasons with the team.

Blocker started out as a student assistant before being elevated to the graduate assistant and director of operations in 2017. She was in charge of the internal and external administration of the football program, while coordinating and planning team travel, helping out with recruiting, camps, team meals and other office duties.

Blocker graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, politics and law with a minor in economics from NAU in 2016. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in educational leadership.
