2024: Played in 12 games… Recorded 10 total tackles with six solos.

Prior to Northern Arizona: Davis Burns joined the Lumberjacks after three seasons at UTEP. In 2023, Davis appeared in 12 games and totaled five tackles. He had two tackles on two occasions, including two in a game against Sam Houston where he was also credited with a quarterback hurry. Over three years, he compiled 25 games of experience and was named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
Burns was a three-year letterwinner at Coronado High School where he racked up 309 career tackles – 175 of which were solo. He averaged 10.3 tackles and 2.0 sacks per game while grabbing nine interceptions and a forced fumble during his career. On the offensive side of the ball, he added 74 rushing yards and two rushing scores to go with 387 yards through the air and four receiving touchdowns.
