Fall 2021: Played in 6 games as a reserve during his first season with the Lumberjacks... Finished with 6 tackles, 3 unassisted, and 1.0 tackles for loss... Recorded the tackle for loss on a third down in Northern Arizona’s 48-17 victory against Idaho State.

Akron (2019-20): Transferred to Akron after Humboldt State discontinued football... Played in three games in 2019 before missing the rest of the season with an injury... Did not play in 2020 due to injury... 

Humboldt State (2016-18): Led the Lumberjacks with 95 tackles, adding six tackles for loss, four sacks, two quarterback hurries, a pass breakup and an interception... Was a team captain as a sophomore while starting both seasons... Named 2018 Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-GNAC

High School: Played at Hillcrest High School... Started for four years with the Trojans and spent the final three as a team captain... Finished his senior year with 1,108 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns in addition to 120 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and six sacks... Earned All-River Valley League twice as well as the 2016 Citrus Belt League Athlete of the Year... Set a school record with 21 tackles in a game for the Trojans... 

Personal: Born Demetrick Chauncey Watts on September 21 in San Bernardino, Calif... Has five siblings including brothers Darian and Charlie, and sisters Zhane, Mya and Mykayla... Completed his bachelor’s degree in organizational supervision at Akron in 2021... In memory of his father Demetrick Watts, helps his family in hosting an annual event for the Watts Humanitarian Scholarship Fund in order to grant students going to college scholarship money for school supplies... Most admires his father, who chose to serve others as his No. 1 priority and made many people feel special and confident with his actions.
