2016: Competed in all 11 games and made three starts…Had 21 catches for 290 yards and an average of 13.8 yards per catch…Registered a season-high 62 receiving yards in the win over Idaho State, including a season-long 47-yard touchdown reception from Hunter Correll…Had a season-high five receptions twice…Recorded 60 receiving yards in the season finale against Southern Utah…Showed his versatility with a 37-yard touchdown pass to Emmanuel Butler on the road at Western Illinois…Completed a 28-yard touchdown pass to Jonathan Baldwin versus Northern Colorado…Finished the season 2-for-3 from behind the line of scrimmage with a pair of touchdown passes and 65 passing yards.

2015: Competed in nine games…Caught a six-yard pass for his first of the season versus Weber State…Five plays later registered a 25-yard touchdown catch to give NAU a 28-3 lead over the Wildcats…His second touchdown of the season came in the regular season finale at Southern Utah with one second left on the clock before halftime, as the ball bounced around in the air before Burton came away with the 49-yard touchdown catch…Tallied a total of four catches for 86 yards and two scores on the season.

2014: Appeared in 12 games…Made his first career start versus Cal Poly…Tallied a total of four catches for 68 yards…Made his first career catch at Abilene Christian when he caught a 15-yard pass…Registered a season-long catch of 30 yards versus Southern Utah.

2013: Redshirted the season.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Cherry Creek High School...Played for Coach Dave Logan...Named All-Colorado First Team in 2012, All-Conference First Team in 2011 and Honorable Mention in 2012...Also played lacrosse.
