High School: Competed for four years at Yuma Catholic High School under head coach Aaron Cheatwood...Was a three-year starter and two-year captain with the program...Was named 3A Defensive Player of the Year and also earned Region Defensive Player of the Year...Recorded 157 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble during his senior campaign...Also played for four years with the school's basketball team...Won a football state title his freshman and a basketball state title his sophomore years.
