Biography

Prior to Northern Arizona: Coming from San Diego, Calif., Markell Martin is an offensive player from Scripps Ranch High School. As a junior, Markell played on both sides of the ball as well as starting as a kick returner.
 
During his time at Scripps Ranch, Markell was part of turning the program around starting at 2-9 his sophomore year, 7-4 his junior year and 9-2 as a senior. Markell is a native of Texas but went to high school in San Diego.
