Prior to Northern Arizona: Ramere Davis played varsity football at Mater Dei High School for three seasons. In three years, Davis played in 27 games and accumulated 50 total tackles, 33 of which were solo. He averaged 1.9 tackles per game and had 18.5 career tackles for loss, recording 14.0 during his senior season. As a senior, he recorded a career-high 27 tackles.
 
Davis racked up 9.5 career sacks for a total of 79 yards, recording seven sacks as a senior, to go with seven hurries. In his final season at Mater Dei, he recovered four fumbles which he returned for 44 yards and two touchdowns. Davis was also credited with four pass breakups.
