Tristan Turner is a Graduate Assistant Certified Athletic Trainer working with the NAU men's basketball team. Turner joined the NAU Sports Medicine staff in the summer of 2020.
 
Born and raised in Tacoma, Wash., Turner found his passion in Athletic Training and pursued this at Washington State University. While at Washington State, he minored in both strength & conditioning and psychology. During his time as a student at Washington State he spent time in a variety of different settings and spent the last year with their men's basketball team.
 
Turner is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and National Strength & Conditioning Association. He is certified in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association. He is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
 
His hobbies include mountain biking, skiing, camping and being outside.
