Martin Jensen joined the Northern Arizona University women's basketball staff as a graduate assistant in the Summer of 2024. The 2024-25 season is his first on staff.

Jensen joined the Lumberjacks after several seasons at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) where he began working as a women's basketball student manager in 2021. After two seasons in that role with the Cougars, he was elevated to assistant coach. In 2023-24, he helped lead the Cougars to the Division II Elite Eight Semifinals after being crowned the California Collegiate Athletic Association Regular Season champions and winning the Division II West Regional.

Prior to CSUSM, Jensen got his start at Three Peaks Performance High School where he was the girl's basketball coach and a player development trainer from 2017 to 2019, also serving in the same role from 2020 to 2021. He also worked as a volleyball student manager at CSUSM from 2019-20.

He graduated from CSUSM in 2023 with Bachelor's degree in Communication.
