After four years with the Northern Arizona women’s basketball program serving in various roles, Peyton Kohnke moved into a graduate assistant position during the summer of 2021.

Spending two years as a scout team player for the Lumberjacks from 2017 to 2019, Kohnke then became an undergraduate student manager with the team. In his role as a manager, Kohnke assisted the coaching staff during practices, assisted the program during its travel and filmed practices and games for scouting and review.

Originally from Poulsbo, Wash., Kohnke attended North Kitsap High School where he played on the varsity basketball team. Kohnke graduated with a bachelor’s of science in biology as an undergrad at Northern Arizona University and is now pursuing a master’s of education in human relations. Kohnke’s hobbies include road cycling, running and climbing in and around the Flagstaff area.
