Emilie Haakansson went 4-0 in singles and doubles action during the NAU women's tennis team's perfect road trip through Montana State (7-0) and Montana (6-1). Haakansson remained unbeaten in conference singles matches and ran her winning streak to seven matches overall with a pair of straight-set victories at No. 5. Haakansson defeated Montana State’s Linda Vink, 6-4, 6-1, on Saturday, April 13 and then knocked off Montana’s Lidia Dukic, 6-2, 7-6(5), on Sunday, April 14. In doubles, Haakansson paired with Madi Moore for two victories at No. 3, including the doubles-point clinching win against the Grizzlies. Haakansson and Moore defeated Enni Zander and Sara Iverson of Montana State by a 6-1 score and clinched the doubles point versus Montana with a 6-3 win over Alex Walker and Nathalie Joanlanne.
