Grand Canyon to Host NAU Women’s Tennis for Regular Season Finale

Lumberjacks prepare for Big Sky Conference championship tournament in Phoenix

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona women's tennis team will compete in its season finale against in-state rival Grand Canyon University on Saturday, April 21, ahead of the Big Sky Conference championship tournament.

The Lumberjacks will travel to Phoenix to take on the Antelopes at 11 a.m. with hopes of better acclimating to the conditions before postseason action next weekend.

Northern Arizona has clinched the 2018 Big Sky regular season championship title for the third year in a row, repeats as the only undefeated conference team at 11-0, continues a winning streak against regular season opponents across three seasons and is undefeated at home at 7-0.

Despite the notable accolades, head coach Maciej Bogusz and the Lumberjacks plan to approach this weekend and postseason like they have every other — by respecting the process and giving it their all.
