FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (January 17, 2019) – The Northern Arizona women's Diving team will be traveling to Los Angelas, Calif. to take part in the UCLA Diving Invite. The UCLA Diving Invite will take place from Friday, Jan. 18-20. The Lumberjacks will be making up seven of the 99 participants for the event.
NAU is coming off of a dual meet against Northern Colorado and Kansas where they went 1-1. The 'Jacks picked up a win against Northern Colorado, while they fell to Kansas.
The dominant senior duo of
Tatiana Kurach and
Christina Torrente put on a show in the aquatic center for the dual meet with both placing in the top three in the 1-meter and the 3-meter events. Kurach placed second in both events as she trailed Xu Vicky of Kansas, while Torrente placed third in both.
