FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (October 6, 2019) - The Northern Arizona women's golf team will continue its fall season at the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational in Las Cruces, N.M. Hosted by New Mexico State University the three-day event is scheduled to run from Monday, Oct. 7 to Wednesday, Oct. 9. All three rounds will begin with a shotgun start at approximately 7:00 a.m. (MST). 

The teams will complete 54-holes of stroke play over three days of competition. The tournament is being played at the Par 72, 6,368 yard NM State Golf Course. Last season the Lumberjacks finished in seventh-place on the team leaderboard at the Aggie Invitational.

The invitational will feature 17 participating teams as well as two Big Sky Conference opponents, Northern Colorado and Southern Utah, that will also make the trip to the Land of Enchantment.

Last time out the Lumberjacks finished in 12th-place on the team leaderboard at the 2019 Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational. Sophomore Elle Kocourkova captured her best individual finish of her career ending in a tie for 10th-place. 

NAU looks to have Kocourkova joined by Ashley Croft, Emma Reyes, Aleksandra Chekalina and Morgan Messick in the Lumberjack lineup for the invite. Alyza Flores and Sara Padilla will be competing as individuals.
