NAU Swimming & Diving Honored as CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

Lumberjacks boasted a team GPA of 3.44 for the spring semester

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (June 25, 2019) – The Northern Arizona University women's swimming and diving program has been recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team for the 2019 Spring Semester.
 
The Lumberjacks boasted an overall team grade point average of 3.44 for the spring semester.  The NAU swimming and diving program has posted a GPA of 3.20 or better in every semester dating back to the spring of 2006.
 
"Coach (Andy) Johns consistently competes for titles - both in the WAC and in the classroom," CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhardt said.
 
NAU was one of 480 institutions honored by the CSCAA with Scholar All-America Team status.
 
The 'Jacks had a total of 26 student-athletes record a GPA of 3.0 or better in the most recent spring semester.
 
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the first organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
