DAY ONE 1-METER RESULTS (PDF)
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (January 17, 2020) – Northern Arizona's divers,
Emily Sharrer,
Jenny Cheetham and
Emily Luberto completed their first day on the west coast at UCLA's three-day diving invite.
With over 50 other divers, the 'Jacks found success in the prelims of the 1-meter dive. Cheetham placed 13th, totaling out to 260.30 points, and ultimately clinching a spot in the finals. Sharrer also took a spot in the finals after placing 16th with 246.60 points. Luberto fell to 37
th on her dives with 210.30 points.
In the finals event, Cheetham rounded out to 18th, finishing with a finals score of 439.85. Sharrer placed above her, totaling out to 497.20.
The Lumberjacks will start day two of the invite tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m., taking on the 3-meter dive.
