Diving Finishes Tough Day on 3-meter Board at UCLA Diving Invite

DAY TWO 3-METER RESULTS (PDF)

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (January 18, 2020) –
At the second day of the Bruins Diving Invite, Northern Arizona University's divers Jenny Cheetham, Emily Sharrer and Emily Luberto took on the 3-meter board today.

"Jenny did a really good job today and was just one point off from making the finals," head diving coach Nikki Huffman said.

Cheetham, like Huffman mentioned, received a finals score of 244.10 to place 19th. Luberto took 28th with a tally of 220.90 points.

"Emily Luberto was really solid today too," Huffman said. "She really handled being a freshman amongst Olympians and international divers. Emily Sharrer was a little off today, but still had some good moments."

Sharrer fell behind her teammates to 41st with a 188.95 preliminary score.

"We are excited to have some fun on platform tomorrow!" Huffman said.

The platform competition will begin at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow morning and wraps up the UCLA Diving Invite.
