FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (January 27, 2020) – The Northern Arizona women's tennis team announced the National Letter of Intent signing of Gina Dittmann on Monday. Dittmann will be an incoming freshman for the 2020-21 season.

Ewa Bogusz. "She will be a great fit for this team and she will have a major impact on our lineup right away. I'm sure she will find NAU as her second home and she will keep developing here. We can't for her to get here."
Dittmann heads to Flagstaff from Essen, Germany where she won five German tournaments in 2019. Dittmann, currently ranked No. 7 in her age group, No. 17 in U18 and No. 102 in the women's rankings in Germany, competed at both the women's and junior German Championships.
On her club team, Dittmann competes at No. 1 and her team plays in the highest league.
In addition to NAU, Dittmann was also being recruited by TCU, Utah, Maryland and UNC Charlotte.
