FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (January 30, 2020) – Northern Arizona's diving is opening up their boards for the second Lumberjack Diving Invite, running for two days, on Fri., Jan 31 and Sat., Feb. 1 at the Aquatic and Tennis Center. NAU will compete against both San Diego State and the University of Idaho.
The first day, the 'Jacks host one event, the 3-meter board, with prelims starting at 10:30 a.m. The top ten divers will make finals with conference scoring.
Saturday will consist of two dives, beginning with the 1-meter at 10 a.m. with the same scoring as the 3-meter. Platform will begin at 2 p.m.
At the last Lumberjack Diving Invite in November,
Jenny Cheetham took first on both the 1 and 3-meter platforms, scoring 641.80 and 610.15, respectively.
This will be the last competing event for the divers before the Western Athletic Conference Championships held in Houston, Texas at the end of February.
