Andy Johns said. "Any time you can get a win against two quality programs like Northwestern and Arizona, it bodes well for where we are in terms of preparation for championship meets at the end of the season."
Sharrer earns her first WAC accolade after taking a first-place win over Arizona on the 1-meter, scoring more than 30 points higher than Arizona's diver at 258.65. On the 3-meter, Sharrer took fourth to Arizona with a tally of 227.30.
"Emily has really become a lot more consistent this year," head diving coach
Nikki Huffman said. "It's great to see her hard work pay off. I know she was excited to have a good performance at Arizona since Tucson is her hometown."
