FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (July 8, 2020) – The Northern Arizona golf team trailed by six strokes going into the final round of the 2015 Big Sky Championship, but the Lumberjacks never wavered. With a strengthened team culture developed throughout the season, the 'Jacks rallied to win the conference title at the Ocotillo Golf Course in Chandler, Ariz.
NAU posted a strong spring season leading up to the championship in which the Lumberjacks recorded three consecutive top three tournament finishes. The 'Jacks rode that momentum into the conference championship where they resided in fourth going into the final day. Behind the lowest round of the entire tournament at nine-over par 297, the Lumberjacks captured their eighth Big Sky title in program history.
