LAS VEGAS, Nev. (October 16, 2021) – Northern Arizona's run at the ITA Mountain Regionals concluded on Saturday as sophomore
Gina Dittmann fell in the Flight One semifinals.
Facing off with No. 4 seed Molly Helgesson from the hosting UNLV, Dittmann's pursuit of a regional title came up just short with a 6-1, 6-2 score at the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas.
The match wrapped up the week for the Lumberjacks, with nine singles wins in 17 matches as well as a pair of wins for the doubles pairings of
Ellie Millard and
Mimi Bland, and
Laura Duhl and
Elinor Beazley.
Northern Arizona's next fall competition begins Oct. 29 in Albuquerque, N.M. at the New Mexico Invite scheduled to run for three days through Oct. 31.
