FARMINGTON, Utah (December 6, 2021) - On Monday afternoon, the Big Sky announced Northern Arizona All-American redshirt sophomore Abdihamid Nur as the Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Last weekend, Nur competed in the 5000-meter run at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, running a personal best time of 13:22.24, missing the men's NCAA 5K top-10 all-time list by only .07 seconds.
Nur's sub 13:30 5K time currently ranks second in the nation this season, second all-time in conference history, and second all-time in NAU history.
